Creating An Experience
Founded in 2002, Little Sunshine Playhouse & Preschool is one of Springfield Missouri’s fastest growing companies. The key to their growth has been a steadfast focus on their people, culture and student development. The company is committed to excellence in early childhood education. Today, Little Sunshine Playhouse and Preschool has 34 locations in 11 states. LSP reached out to Paragon to help them with consistent theming as they open multiple locations.
The Creative Process
Paragon designed two very specific trees that could be added to the main lobby space at each of their new locations as they continue their expansion effort. Paragon worked with the client to harvest two real trees and then produced molds from them that could be used in production of faux trees. The initial investment in molds has saved the client money in the long term versus creating custom trees for each location. The molds also allow us to recreate the same exact look for each space bringing consistency to the brand. The trees are created with a hand laid process using fiber matt and epoxy resin to provide durability and a realistic look. We supply the trees longer than required to be trimmed to fit onsite by the general contractor so that installation works regardless of individual site conditions
